5 Steps to Ease Into Action Stress Free

5 steps stress free routine

IF YOU ARE FEELING STRESSED, A LITTLE DEPRESSED OR STRUGGLING TO GET INTO A NEW ROUTINE TRY THIS...

  1. Spend some time (even 15 minutes) alone, be intentional with your thoughts and feel what is holding you back, a struggle or a spot where you feel stuck.

  2.  Brain dump everything that is coming up, you need to do or want to accomplish. I find that with Fall comes lots of tasks, events, new school schedules, more meals that need to get made, etc. So brain dump it all out. This allows you to get it all out then organize it so you feel less like a popcorn maker in your brain and more focused with a list.

  3.  Make the list!

    • From your brain dump cross off anything you know you do not really need to do or don't have time (like repainting the entry way or purging your closet).

    • Ask yourself if there is anything you can cancel, delegate to someone else or get help with.

    • Now take everything that is left and number them out in priority. This is your list

  4. Pick the top 3 things on your new list and get them done in the next 24-48 hours. This will make you feel better already.

  5. Plan out everything else in your calendar as needed. If you share a life with someone else I recommend a joint calendar so its all out there to see. Don't forget to book some fun and some Me Time. You deserve both baby.

Ok, I hope this helps. I know stress and anxiety can really get the best of us. You cant just get rid of anxiety in a minute but you can set yourself up for success and take some of the  “busy” off your plate.

It is OK to slow down and enjoy your days.

If you try this stress less strategy please let me know how it works for you.
